Every summer, we offer a baptism service in the lake!

When? We usually pick a Sunday in July.
What time? About noon, after the Sunday morning service.
Where? In Bear Lake! As a local church, we gather at Garden City Park, walk down the boardwalk, celebrate the baptism (people like to watch from the beach), and then enjoy a potluck together at the park.

If you're considering baptism, we ask that you review the questions listed below and listen to the resources we've included.

Who should be baptized? Baptism is for believers in Jesus. It's an act of obedience that is honoring to the LORD, and it is a public announcement that you are in Christ by faith.

How many times should a person be baptized?
- Ideally, a person should only need to be water-baptized once in his/her life.
- However, some people get baptized prior to putting their faith in Jesus, whether it is infant baptism, childhood baptism, or perhaps baptism under a merit-based belief system.
- If you were baptized before getting saved but later put your faith in Jesus and have never since been baptized, we'd encourage you to be baptized again.
- If you have already been baptized as a believer, we do not encourage re-baptism.
